Not strictly about the rule itself, but on the LifeWiki article I added information on the Rule 110 emulator that was made in it. I myself am not super interested in Traveling Ts, but I was surprised that wasn't mentioned on the article when I found out about the pattern.
I could've chose a better username, but oh well.

Still learning the ropes of cellular automata, focused on one OCA at a time. My current interest is B35/S126 and range-two LTLs.

    I haven't yet finished collecting 2-object seeds yet (I only collected half of the 2-blinker seeds). That remains an open possibility for exploration.
  2. The next thing that we will need to do is make a unidirectional slow salvo collection. I have ruled out the blinker and the long blinker as target objects, leaving the loaf, the beehive and the boat as the best candidates. Make sure that we have recipes that place a blinker and leave behind another target object to continue the synthesis.
  3. We will need to find a stable T reflector and/or (less likely) a stable G reflector. The boat reflector I posted earlier is unlikely to work because we've already tested many of the possible placements. I think that our best option is to use a Barrister-style search to find catalysts for the boat. I would test the T+loaf and T+beehive collisions using CatForce to find suitable reflector partials, then use Barrister to complete. (Currently, I don't think that Barrister has been made for OCA, but it will be very useful if it is).
  4. After we have finished proving unidirectional slow salvos universal, the next step is to make a construction arm. We will need recipes for PUSH, PULL, and FIRE (for gliders, we will use the two glider colors; Ts do not have colors). In my opinion, the best hand objects are either the pond, the loaf, or the beehive. These do not need to be single-channel because there might be a sparky edgeshooter reaction that we can use.
  5. If we want to make self-supporting spaceships, we will want to invest into making c/2 helixes for speeds faster than c/4. The spaceships we will use for helixes are the Climbing C and the Flying F.
  6. Still life syntheses are very important to be able to construct patterns like spaceships. I have seen you start to work on some syntheses for still lives, but converters will also be necessary for larger still lives or catalysts found using search programs. In my opinion, it is best to use the T for syntheses, however it is possible that the current version of synthesis search programs you are using do not support T syntheses.
I think that this is a good list of explorations in this rule that would lead to universal construction. I will color the text green if someone (including me) completes (or reasonably finished) the explorations described in this post.

I have previously evaluated similar recipes for using the pond. Using this particular loaf orientation is significantly cheaper than using the pond, at the cost of needing flipping recipes (but those aren't too expensive). In fact, the cheapest recipe for putting a blinker is actually the duplicate recipe for loaf plus the loaf->blinker recipe (but it moves the loaf quite far away; the recipe to move the loaf is highlighted in blue). The reason I have added a put blinker recipe is because so far most of the seeds are made of blinkers. There are enough move recipes to place the loaf in any desired position.

Please refrain from posting patterns that are not notable. This is not notable for 3 reasons:
1. It it extremely large. Methuselahs and diehards larger than 20x20 are not notable in life or in TTs.
2. The current record not only lasts longer, but has a much smaller bounding box, and, in a later phase, a much smaller population.
3. The evolution is just using the same evolutionary sequence multiple times and increasing the bounding box and population to make it last longer.

Anyway, we have a lot of helix reactions, but we don't actually have any crawlers. Can someone try and find a crawler reaction?
