OCA Current News

So far, the Main Page on the LifeWiki has shown only CGoL news. Important OCA discoveries, such as the first known 3c/5o spaceship in an outer-totalistic rule, have largely been disregarded outside of the sphere of OCA enthusiasts on the wiki. The creation of "OCA Current News", acting as a counterpart to CGoL Current News, would allow a greater portion of discoveries to be represented on LifeWiki.
The idea has been proposed several times over the years, the most recent time being a discussion yesterday on Discord which lead to this thread's creation.
The following people have shown a willingness to become curators for OCA Current News:

Anyone can join this list if they are willing to become a curator.
Anything that seems "noteworthy" to one particular curator should be posted/crossposted to this thread. Whether it is worthy of inclusion in the LifeWiki OCA Current News or not is up to the curators ("the OCAmmittee") to decide. This thread should be used only for candidate additions; the voting process has currently not been determined (and discussion of it should go here).

I want to make sure that only people who are interested in running this are signed up for doing it, so people do not feel pressure to take up the extra work. I think it would best if users are added to the team only if they volunteer themselves.
