If we could find some ambitious person willing to maintain a conway.life domain, it could certainly come in handy. Possibilities include hosting online server-side search code, display mechanisms for various databases, collection points for distributed searches --
even theoretically a new LifeViewer-enabled Sandbox forum separate from conwaylife.com.
That last is only if the people with the mysterious interest in roleplay threads want to do all the necessary work to maintain it, and provide the minor capital outlay needed to pay an ISP's hosting fees.

I'm not a sufficiently ambitious person this year, myself. I've already got my .life domain -- b3s23.life. I really wanted to get some online octohash database search code up and running there this year, but there was far too much Real Life getting in the way in 2025, and so it hasn't happened yet.
If some hypothetical ambitious person would like to help out with putting octohash searches online, though, or any online search / database display / distributed search collection point project that we don't have a good mechanism to support otherwise, please do PM me. (Just please don't ask about setting up anything like a roleplay thread system on b3s23.life -- I'm unlikely to be interested in trying to export any Sandbox problems to my domain.)
