Do note, however, that it will only attempt to synthesise a limited number of objects defined by its user, generally objects that already have a synthesis or unsynthesised still lifes just above the limit of current knowledges. If you want to make sure that a specific application of your component gets included in the database, you may want to consider submitting the synthesis yourself.

To my understanding these are intended more as compressed database entries than actual readable pattern files; the rulestrings, I assume, provide a lower and upper bound for which the evolution of a specific spaceship is supported.

On some pages, such as Gallus, Quint-snark, and Bumper and bouncer gallery, there are exemplary patterns on the larger side-by-side comparison rles which showcase outdated larger sparkers (e.g. the bumper page before today still listed the smallest by population and right clearance p5 bumper as one supported by the p5 pipsquirter)

Obviously there are instances where showing functionality and not optimization are most useful, as well as instances where less optimal sparkers do work, but there is the possibility of people not realizing there are better solutions. Along with the fact that some are outdated, it may be a good idea to include optimized versions alongside older versions of these reflectors/period multiple

Relatedly, the below p5 sparkers have functionality similar to the Middleweight Volcano and P5 pipsquirter (included for reference), yet do not get recognized as alternatives on the wiki despite some having lower populations, higher clearance, and other potentially useful features (the 37-cell p5 and the higher-clearance 38-cell version both have those features). I think they should at least be acknowledged as alternatives on either the Middleweight Volcano page and/or the P5 Pipsquirter page

The section on other rules where pulsars are rare feels to me to be lacking in analysis of more current understanding on pulsar rarity in both rules mentioned. What are the current stats on rarity of pulsars in the mentioned rules
Are there any other rules where the pulsar is rarer than in grounded life? What rule currently explored has the rarest pulsar formation?

EDIT: Here is a relatively "common" (in other symmetries, and only in regards to pulsar-forming soups in general) potentially natural pulsar predecessor from Pedestrian Grounded Life (B358/S23), where pulsars have zero natural occurences

Why does this page focus on this specific LCM rephaser instead of one which explores the applications of the p5?
I think the p5 on it's own is more notable than the LCM.

Leaf bug 2#Versions seems unnecessary to me, especially given the fact that all of the revisions to the design are usually exceedingly miniscule and not entirely obvious from what is shown (not to mention they are unmarked). I think this section (and page as a whole) should probably be reworked to show things like: smallest 31c/240 rakes, smallest puffers, and smallest period-multiplied versions (None of which I think have actually been constructed, but all would be more notable than the cosmetic changes to Leaf Bug 2)
Currently working to improve Life's guns and work on updating SKOPs and Isotropic rules most similar to B3/S23 to Life standards. Will get software to begin searches eventually.

Die_hard states that it is conjectured that this 7-cell pattern dies after 130 generations, the longest possible for a 7-cell pattern. However, I think that the behavior for patterns up to 9 cells has been enumerated. This means that it probably has been proven that the 7-cell pattern lives for the longest possible out of any 7-cell pattern before dying.

That program only checked for long-lived patterns with period 12. This means it found methuselahs, switch engines, pentadecathlons, and figure eights. It would not see how long a diehard lasted.

On the P52 section of the honey farm shuttles page, can it be edited so that the three HF shuttles here (the right one is a hybrid of the other two) are mentioned as "two similar P52s and a hybrid" or something like that?

The expansion factor of a sawtooth is the limit of the ratio of successive heights (or equivalently, widths) of the "teeth" in plots of population versus generation number.
Why does the growth being not exactly exponentially spaced bar the existence of the expansion factor, on the LifeWiki page Sawtooth? I assume the existence of a limit is enough to produce an expansion factor, e.g. the expansion factor of Sawtooth 1163 is 2.

The correct definition of expansion factor could be
