What is the purpose of this thread? If it is just to post a single pattern, I would recommend that you do so in your personal sandbox thread. If not, I think that you should clarify what the purpose is.

The pattern you posted seems to be based on a 1G seed I discovered:

Code: Select all

36bo!
I was able to clean up the ash using my previous work, but even if the R-pentomino could be inserted here using only a single SL and glider, the resulting 1G seed would have 15 objects, and my seed uses only 13, all of which are still lifes.

Code: Select all

x = 35, y = 47, rule = B3/S23
11b2o$11b2o3$33b2o$33b2o$28b2o$28b2o4$12b2o$7b2o2bo2bo$6bo2bo2bobo$7b

Forum rule 4 lists discoveries which are not considered notable, and one of those is "An alternate stabilization for a reaction (unless it is smaller than the smallest currently known).", which is what the pattern you posted is.

The reaction that produces the loaf, beehive, and glider in the exact positions is based on the soup my original seed was based on - it appears at generation 561:

Code: Select all

#C [[ STOP 561 ]]
x = 16, y = 16, rule = B3/S23
