C4_1 is slower to search than other symmetries, but I will try.

Since we do not have many methuselahs at all, I will adapt my script to try and find some, as well as find megasized patterns.
EDIT: Just for clarification, 'megasized' refers to a soup with a large final population - Catagolue stores soups with a population greater than 3000 as "megasized_<num>h".

1). I forgot to actually run ./ikpx2, but I have started running it again. I will edit this post with some partials in a few minutes.
2). Sorry, I failed to realise that it was trivial. I have replaced it with a p42 T loop.
The C4_1 search was mostly fruitless, except for this tetramer p8 thumb, which can be monomerised:

can you try a higher maximum breadth for c/7d? Because like think about the lobster. Also, if you won't do c/7d, please do 2c/7d, 3c/7, c/8, or c/8d. if you really want to redo a diagonal speed tho, do c/3d.

ikpx2 has no way to control the breadth (as far as I am aware), and since spaceships are often long and thin, depth-first is better.
I will try a 3c/7o search.

Also, please test to see if you can burn (cleanly or otherwise) the output of the c/3d tubstretcher at <= c/3d.

Interesting - minpop is 30, so it might be able to reduce the population of a few periods.

I wouldn't call it a very promising partial, as a partial can decay at a max speed of c, so the back four lines would have decayed away, and there are around twenty cells in the back four lines of the spaceship, so it is not very honorable to decay 27 cells.

the T is reflected, but it then kills the oscillator.
edit2: I had a look at the SKOPs, they were very good! But there were 2 problems. firstly, you accidentally put the catagolue link for the p16 on the p17, which I have fixed. Secondly, it is missing a p55, p87, p90, p93, p99, and p100, which can all be achieved with reflector loops.
edit3: I did some testing, and we can actually get a p100 (25,20) LCM oscillator:

Most of the decay takes place backwards, potentially suggesting that it could be completed if the partial was extended.

Thanks for correcting the wiki - I had assumed that an LCM(20,25) was impossible, since I could not find a way to interact with the p25 using a domino.
You're welcome, and if you are wondering, I found it by first realizing that if it reacted with the line of 2 of the p25, then it would enable a cell to survive in the next generation that would kill the oscillator, which meant it had to interreact with the thumb that appears after. It would have to interreact on one cell, or else a cell would be born after which would kill the oscillator, so the p20 had to produce a domino spark that was above the thumb, and I found a reaction that worked.
Also, I have a question, can you change the settings in ikpx2 to find a backend instead of a frontend?
