we now have spaceships of speeds c/2, c/3, c/4, c/5, 2c/5, c/4d, and c/5d. Can someone make a collection of the smallest spaceships of each speed?

That statement is incorrect. For example, "a 2x4 block with four 2x4 blocks added to the side" makes a p62 oscillator; 62 /= 2 x 4 + 2.

That seems correct, so therefore we need a new way of producing arbitrary even periods as well as odd periods. There are quite a few moderately sparky oscillators on Catagolue, so at least one of them should be able to act as a reflector for gliders or Ts - can someone do some testing?
Unfortunately, the duoplet cannot reflect gliders in this rule.

We also need to find a gun at some point - does anyone have any ideas for mechanisms?

There are some one-time splitters, but they probably won't be useful.

I am currently running an ikpx2 search, and linear growth patterns, presumably puffers, have appeared (apgcodes yl48_1_20_d77e815f2d61d785980419e86d97298e, yl134_1_48_b3d30fba168449b944e98600560ba74b, and yl140_1_18_2fbbe6cf0139c608fdeb513df7a900d6), but the search is taking a while.

I'll run apgsearch for C4_1 and C4_4 overnight. I believe that there may be reflector loops, guns, or odd-period oscillators that could show up in fourfold rotational symmetry.

This rule already has lots of interesting discoveries after only 2.5 days of investigation. :) Once we find a gun and stable reflector(s), we should be able to work on creating engineered patterns.
