Minimal number of destroyed ants is two, because ant dies, when it, along with another ant, enters the same field. So number of destroyed ants on one field on one step is 2, 3 or 4:

I think the mechanism of deleting ants isn't basic, mayby it's a consequence of a simulation that have only states with one ant on one cell - than killing all ants that enter one cell at the same time od the best result. But if there is a way to kill an ant, way there isn't way to born an ant?
It could be interesting what will happened if we have multiant states of cell with 1, 2, 3 and 4 ants. The rule of changing colour of cell after move would be respected.
For me - it proofs, that plural ant extention isn't basic at all.
Most of collisions of know 4-bits-spaceships kills 2, 4, 6 or 8 ants, but an rare example of destroying 7 ants is single highway synthesis. Ants are killed after genration 24 (2 ants), 26 (3 ants) and 34 (2 ants). The last ant starts building a highway really fast after collision:

But really hard is to find a pure synthesis, that make something without some among of not-needed stuff, for example black cells that not reacts with oscilator, or cristals after spaceships synthesis, or some junk in the middle of spiral:

Only "pure" synthesis by 2-ship-collision i could find are spirals, nothing by collision and single oscilator without junk:

Anyway in my opinion Langton's Ant with Ant-killing rule ja still interesting, we should looking for more spaceships, puffers, highways and unique oscilators, collisions of objects, or building a structures where the ships can travel difrently.
