Looks like it won't be too terribly difficult. You can't synthesize the LOM and block simultaneously with 3G, but there are lots of matches in the two-object and three-object octohash databases. I looked in octo3g first:

Side note, I also checked
Collisions of a glider with common objects, but there's only the one glider+beehive collision that makes a LOM, and for this construction the blocks would have to be dropped in after the collision, which didn't look like much fun. Also looked for something likely in Mark Niemiec's database -- didn't see anything obvious, but there might still be something there that could work at least in a couple of the corners.
