I think the oscillator is interesting in an objective way. It shows an unusual way to engineer new oscillators from known components / "attachments". This way of engineering doesn't simplify to some "well-known and usually considered boring" approach. It does not look general enough to make it into some kind of "universal technology" that would be comparable in flexibility to active reactions moving through conduits. The approach looks limited, not easily configurable (or not adjustable at all), and it is interesting to see examples where it does work.
At the same time, I think the provided description (omitted in my quote) is unnecessarily obscure. I think that description fails to help a reader trying to understand what is objectively interesting about the oscillator. The oscillator would have fewer objective reasons to be considered interesting, if it were nothing more than a demonstration of well-understood flexible universal technology.
(There doesn't seem to be a simpler way to clearly and unambiguously communicate "I like the pattern, but I disagree with/object to the comments in the same post". I
do want to encourage sharing interesting patterns and ideas. I do
not want to encourage unnecessary obscurity.)

Merely collecting many examples, without having some interesting discussion of ideas connecting the examples, looks like "road to nowhere", there are infinitely many oscillators, you can't collect them all.
