A forum for topics that don't fit elsewhere. Introduce yourselves to other members of the forums, discuss how your name evolves when written out in the Game of Life, or just tell us how you found it. Forum rules still apply.
This topic's goal is communication without using that particularly common glyph which occurs fifth in Latin script, or “5th in Latin ABCs”.
Additional protocols:
Forum tags ([b], [i], [u], ...) may contain this glyph.
An individual's forum alias within a quotation tag or a URL within a URL tag may contain this glyph.
Symbols put automatically within a post by phpBB (including that automatic 3-symbol titular addition) may contain this glyph.
CA configurations must not contain this glyph. This protocol has no application to LV scripts, which may contain that glyph.
This topic’s titular writing may contain it, but only if it’s from this topic’s original post with or without that automatic phpBB addition.
No glyph substitution may occur that would bypass this topic's primary glyph-omission policy.
Only discuss CA, math, comp sci, and programming. Nobody wants this to turn into a Random Posts.
Naturally, all forum protocols still apply. This is including 3a, 4, and 5b.
If a mod shuts down this topic, thumbs up if that last post follows this topic’s protocols too, similar to Lying Topic’s last post.
Modification by Matthias: I had to apply various clarifications to this post. Mods will not shut it down as long as it's on-topic. Stay mindful of what you say, and try to put a bit of work into your posts.

115 days until New York's age verification law goes into effect.
This topic got out of hand much too quickly, which is why such topics should focus strictly on CA, math, CS, and programming discussion. Additionally, you should try to avoid constructing posts using invalid word and glyph substitutions or bad grammar, as us mods will find it a fair bit more difficult to do our jobs.
I also don't want this topic to fill up with a bunch of trivial posts that don't honor what is obviously a difficult conundrum: communication without a common symbol. I think such trivial posts simply fail to spark our imagination in a satisfying way, making for a dull activity. Basically, try to build your post so that it sounds kind of natural and flows fairly smoothly. And as always, stay on topic.
Annoyingly, I had to scrub this topic of many basic violations, which is a task I don't wish to do again. I truly do not want to apply a lock to this topic, but I'm willing to do so if it quickly jumps back into off-topic and/or lazily simplistic posting.
Both posts prior to this could avoid using that fifth glyph by modifying CA "law" constructions, as shown in prior posts in this topic. Kindly modify your posts to conform with topic protocol 4.

Modification: cut out bad "law" word.
Your CA "law" still contains Latin glyph #5. You can construct it in a way that avoids this, although you must apply data from this chart.

Modification 2: did a swap, non-good glyphs now dollar signs. Modify manually.
Topic protocol 6 says no glyph substitutions. You can still modify your CA "law" to work without including Latin glyph #5. Again, apply data from this chart. Think about transitions in this CA configuration for inspiration:
