Yes, you're alright :)
It's technically a P to Procrastinator appended to a Proscrinator to C.
Good eyes 8)

So now, we have a Procrastinator to C converter PrF68C :roll:

As far as I know, the procrastinator sequence doesn't have any accepted "official" generation or orientation. In other words, procrastinator is not well-defined as a "conduit input/output" active object.
Therefore, it's currently impossible to answer whether a conduit [edit: that consumes or produces a procrastinator] is "F" or "Fx" or "R" or "Rx" or "L" or "Lx" or "B" or "Bx", and it's currently impossible to answer how many ticks the conduit takes to transform the input object into the output object.

However, there was the following forum post, showing a specific generation and orientation:
hotdogPi wrote: January 5th, 2023, 5:01 pm [...]
I would really rather use the letter N (and all single letters) for something much more common, like this, where the canonical phase of the procrastinator looks like a lowercase n (this is how blonk-tie became J):

Code: Select all

x = 4, y = 4, rule = B3/S23
2o$obo$obo$2b2o!
I'm not saying that procrastinator definitely gets the letter N, but I would rather not waste it on an uncommon object.
Here are some connections, using known components:

So why don't we just choose a semi-arbitrary direction and generation for the procrastinator? It would make this sort of stuff easier. Another object that could use this, even though it is not naturally common, is the object in the jubjub reflector and the speed tunnel that often comes about because of a pi, but the pi is often not technically part of the conduit because part of it replaces a loaf that was originally deleted.

Edit: Here are suggestions for the directions and base generations for these objects:

Code: Select all

x = 30, y = 30, rule = LifeHistory

9.A2.2A$A11.2A3.A8$13.3A$13.A2BA$12.A2.2A$12.2A2.A!
The procrastinator's proposed direction is because of the conduits it's part of. The jubjub object's proposed direction is because of its initial direction of momentum.

Right, it makes sense to choose and "publish" a single agreed choice of canonical generation and canonical orientation, if possible at all. My point was simply that AFAIK no such choice was made yet for the procrastinator. See the quote in my previous post for previous discussion I found.

For the object in the Jubjub reflector and the speed tunnel, see also previous discussion: viewtopic.php?f=7&t=2636&start=350

If you take a look at his conduit ER276C :

Code: Select all

x = 36, y = 47, rule = LifeHistory
34.2A$34.A$4.A11.3C13.A.A$4.3A11.2C12.2A$A6.A9.2C$3A3.2A$3.A$2.2A10$

$24.2A5$8.2D$8.D2.D$9.D.D$9.3D!
It seems to be logic that the conduit can be simply decomposed in ER208Procrastinator + ProcrastinatorF68C.
And if look the evolution sequence of Procrastinator, it seems logic too to get this position as F :

Code: Select all

x = 4, y = 4, rule = LifeHistory
2.2A$.A.A$.A.A$2A!
#C [[ Z 12 ]]
Just because the the reaction goes on the right like H. P …

Whatever we choose, it stills an arbitrary decision.

Edit:
I made some searches on Procrastinator and I found these 'conduits' :

Code: Select all

x = 213, y = 90, rule = LifeHistory

Notice that in the BR146H, the FNG of the outputted H can escape by using BF20He to delete the natural Block of B input.
So here is a variant of BR146H :

Code: Select all

x = 46, y = 50, rule = LifeHistory

Re: The Hunting of the Elementary Conduits

Apologies for double post, it's related to the last edit of this post : viewtopic.php?f=2&t=1682&p=206224#p205964

Here' is a weird H-to-C with a transparent Block restored by a natural Block of C.
I found a "dirty" C-to-G that fits and lets the right natural Block.
May be there is others "dirties" C-to-X to append …

Tawal's initial reaction is effective at edgeshooting chaos. As another example, here is a way to make a B-heptomino and two gliders.

Code: Select all

What else can we make with this?
I also found this conduit but I didn't found a way to connect the B output.
However I found another way to get the B output with better clearance, the NE Glider and an edgy HF.
I just put a HF catalyst that delete it. May be there's other stuff to do with the HF.
So here is a HBx207B :

The PT9B+BBx187H is known, but I don’t think the connection to BF22P is.

I don't understand how the idea of Blockic patterns is relevant here. The posted pattern isn't Blockic (there are eater1s, a snake, and larger catalysts), and I don't see any claims otherwise in recent posts?

It was a joke about the fact that the conduit has eight blocks in it, making up a good half of the catalysts. I just thought it was funny.
