Not just merely "of interest to two or three people", but "of interest to the community".

Also, if a pattern is interesting enough to deserve to be posted at all, then the pattern also deserves a couple of sentences clearly describing it.
Just "some more patterns" fails to tell anything about what those patterns are and why they might be interesting.
Tell what you know about the pattern, and what you find interesting about it.

Readers of your post should have a rough idea of what to expect when they open your RLE in LifeViewer or copy it into another program. Outside of the Sandbox forum, at least briefly describe (or quote another post that describes) what pattern(s) you're posting. Descriptions also make it much easier to find patterns by searching the forums.

The base rule itself would be far more interesting to prove TC. SI rules are almost trivially TC much of the time. What we should be looking for is a reflector of the small ship in the base rule, or at least a smaller gun (I posted a failed and unsalvageable (the gun fires into itself) partial in useless oca patterns). Wait, do we even have an eater?? (edit: yes we do. biblocks with 3 cell separation.)
Props for making a pattern collection and not doing "edit1, edit2...", though.

Well, but, you see, the base rule is stronger than the SI rule. Also, unless the reaction in the SI can be supported in the base rule, it’s not useful. Please don’t turn this thread into “ada’s rule stateinvestigator”, there’s a forum thread for oca si already.
