There is a 21-cell pure glider generator in Life whose initial configuration consists entirely of lone dots, but
it is currently not known whether there is a smaller one.

This year, a traditional Chinese holiday similar to Hallowmas falls on Hallowmas Day.


EDIT: There is an obscure relationship between Conway's Life and Neography.
I suppose most of you know the Snark in Conway's Life.
Did you know where the name of the Snark comes from?
It's from a poem by Lewis Carroll.
The poem also mentions the Bandersnatch and the Bellman.
What's interesting that the poem's Chinese version involves Neography to deal with the neologism.

Almost certainly "no". Due in part to the fact that you did not actually list/link which examples you consider "relevant", and in part because of the preceding discussion regarding DYK: viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1565&start=100

Instead, if you think some fact can be made into a DYK item, please post a specific suggested wording in the forum thread viewtopic.php?f=16&t=1565 and let other people judge whether or not it makes a good DYK.

If "I love you" were transliterated into Japanese and then, interpreted as Chinese characters, transcribed in the Shidinn ( XDI8AHO ) chat alphabet, the name of a well known multi-state circuit rule will appear as a substring (case sensitive) of the result.
