Here is your pattern, formatted in a Golly/LifeViewer-compatible way, and posted via the "pattern" button (which can be found above the "Post a reply" form):

Code: Select all

x = 7, y = 3, rule = B3/S23
b5o$o5bo$b5o!
And here is a way to construct that particular predecessor by colliding gliders (check generation 100):

Code: Select all

x = 25, y = 27, rule = B3/S23
23bo$22bo$22b3o6$4bo$5bo$3b3o4$14bo$13bo$13b3o3$3o$2bo$bo3$13b3o$13bo$
14bo!
#C [[ HARDRESET STOP 100 ]]

Unlikely events happen.
My silence does not imply agreement, nor indifference. If I disagreed with something in the past, then please do not construe my silence as something that could change that.

Also, the usual recommendation is to post this kind of "possible new discovery" to an existing thread like the Thread for your unsure discoveries.

Maybe we should add a specific section toward the beginning of the forum rules, specifically aimed at helping out newcomers? It might include something like:

"If you're new here, and you're not sure if a pattern that you want to post is an interesting new discovery or not, then please post it in the Thread for your unsure discoveries. Generally it's best to avoid creating new threads until you're familiar enough with the community to be able to judge whether a new thread is really needed."
