Yup, that's on the "Other" section of the G-to-beehive LifeWiki article, except with a tub instead of that larger catalyst.

There's an eater5 variant that makes this particular connection nice and easy:

Code: Select all

The G -> H + G variant which lets the glider escape is not shown on the wiki explicitly. However, it can be seen as a combination of a 90-degree reflector and a G -> H, both of which are on the page.
Comparison (top: 90-degree reflector, bottom: G -> H, middle: your variant):

While trying to build a p53 gun, I found this G to TL+G reaction:

Code: Select all

A G-to-B reaction:

A G-to-block reaction, so far the only reaction I know of that doesn't interact with the p53 even after a long time:

G-to-Pi (unfortunately pi splitter doesn't work with this):

Well I genuinely have no clue where to post this, but spark_search turned up a pretty good 3G boat edgeshooter that doesn't seem to show up outside of 3G collision databases (e.g. it doesn't show up in lists of boat syntheses).

"Two Gliders Mess" reaction early catalysed by Eater 1 gives one Glider reflected at 180° and 0hd :

Code: Select all

x = 30, y = 30, rule = LifeHistory
3$5.A$3.A.A$4.2A$28.A$26.2A$27.2A14$19.2C$19.C$20.3C$22.C!
Edit:
The glider which be reflected passes through if the glider which be destroyed is not present.

Edit2 :
Is there some use of the "Two Gliders Mess" reaction ?
