Here’s where you can come up with useless ideas to make in CGoL and or OCA.

My first idea is to make a construction arm but if it tries to construct something, it immediately self destructs. My second idea is to make a computer that will run the halting problem. My third idea is to make the RCT, but it goes outward, technically having to be renamed the RRCT (Reversed Reverse Caber Tosser). And finally, my fourth idea is to make a catalyst, but it can only eat a rare still life.

An artificial replicator whose its copies are also functional (and can construct its child), therefore interfering with other replicators, eventually reducing everything into ashes of mostly blocks and blinkers.

A glider gun, but it is actually a sparker because it produces Glide Sparks. Glide Sparks are gliders that die due to their content in Move/Morley cells, and the appear in the LHMS Hybrid CA. Below is the pattern code for a Glide Spark.
