I'm really worried that some of the new oscillators posted on Discord aren't making their way here. I can't go back and check right now but perhaps a daily "roll call" where someone goes through the messages from the past day and posts whatever hasn't gotten here yet would be useful.

Very nice! Just out of curiosity, what was the original 34-cell form? I can think of two trivial 34-cell variants of this (turning the eater into a tub-with-tail or hook-with tail); was it one of those? If not, I'd be curious to see what the other one was.

Wow. Half a dozen p23 engines now, and still no true-period p23 gun? Sometimes the Life universe can be awfully obstinate.
This new engine does spit out some modified B-heptomino things to the left and right that don't instantly react with the engine, but it looks like they have to be suppressed pretty mercilessly to keep them from tossing junk back toward the center after a few ticks.

found by freak accident. while searching for a blinker rephase reaction with the p7 middleweight to try it on the new p95, i found that catalyst. didn't think much of it. then i came across this and thought, "hey, wait a second..."

oh my god.
i searched for the thunderbird oscillator on discord. decided to scroll down a bit and see what else there was, saw a different thunder bird oscillator. guess what was right there? the p7 blinker rephase reaction. (it doesn't work on the p95)
