An interesting rule on the boundary between complexity and simplicity. With 2 gliders known(https://catagolue.hatsya.com/census/b35s238/C1)
My question is how many spaceships does this rule have? Are there more then 2 that could be found with apgsearch? Are there glider guns? note most patterns quickly decay into still lifes

This 5c/37o (according to a Catagolue comment, it is known as Eppstein's glider 8214) appeared in the D4_+2 census.
This c/2o (Eppstein's glider 4716, also works in B35/S23) appeared in D2_+1:

If a gun exists, probably it would be hard to find (unless you're lucky). The most common spaceship (2c/5o = Eppstein's glider 3736) has 351 090 occurrences in 2 414 101 395 soups in b35s238/C1 - approximately 1 occurrence in every ~6900 soups.

No. The speed limit is c/4 diagonal, or c/2 orthogonal. c/2d requires B1e or B2a.
