Chain Gun

Post by Axaj »

A very simple chain of Queen Bees that produce two rows of gliders.

Code: Select all

x = 288, y = 45, rule = B3/S23

Maybe, make a breeder?
Unfortunately, this would require the breeder to move at slope 7, unless the wick is staggered.
Maybe, stop bumping ancient threads?
Why not? That a thread is old does not mean it should be discarded, old threads have a lot of interesting information that can be added to. Would it make any sense to lock a thread that is inactive for more than x days? No! It looks like you are one of those people who considers everything over 1 year old to be obsolete ("Ending is better than mending. The more stitches, the less riches.").

I don't think it is proper to bash someone for asking a question on an old topic, I think you owe fsrm an apology.

Yes, it would - in fact this is exactly what most forums do. While I agree that the rule shouldn't really apply here, since Life is set up in a way that allows old threads to continue being relevant, I also don't think muzik owes anyone an apology because s/he's likely coming from other forums that follow standard practice.

Apologies.

I do indeed come from other forums (or at least, complete disgraces of forums absolutely overflowing with spam *cough* *cough* GEOMETRY DASH FORUMS *cough* *cough*), which generally follow the no bumping practice.

Is this a forum about netiquette or about GoL?

At the moment, pretty much both.
