Interestingly enough, if a second B-heptomino is stuck in the exact same position as the first one after the boat is formed, a glider is released. Anybody know how to synthesize the B-heptomino in such cramped conditions?

The boat gets in the way of the 3 standard 2 glider syntheses. But I suspect you already knew that. I'll play around with kickbacks to see if I can get around that problem.
Edit:
Still no luck. I can get around the block, but that boat seems impossible to avoid.
