The Background Runs Out

Post by Extrementhusiast »

In the most recent page of the 17-bit SL syntheses, I've noticed a problem that I've never seen: the length of the page actually exceeds the length of the background, which creates black space at the bottom of the page. Additionally, there are a couple of missing bits in the white space, again near the bottom. (Presumably, this problem should be pretty easy to fix, by just extending the length of the background.)

What OS and browser? I'm not seeing this on Windows 7 and Google Chrome -- the background just keeps repeating for as long as necessary.

Firefox and the old workhorse Windows XP, respectively (though it's going to get upgraded to 7 soon).

I saw the same problem multiple times, and refreshing appeared to fix it temporarily. I attributed it to internet connection corruption, but since others are seeing it, it's not just my problem. I'm still seeing it (only on the 17-bit still-life page), using Firefox 27.0.1 on 64-bit Windows 7. I just tried it with Internet Explorer 11, and it seems to display correctly. I don't have Chrome installed on this machine, so I can't test it there.
