Re: "Hashwar": A Battle Royale for individual GOL configurations
This is the first FPGA of many that will form a cluster to mine the longest running patterns on the 16x16. This board alone can evaluate over 170M boards/s which is about 4-5x my rtx4070 and 10x of the prev. FGPA miner.

Re: "Hashwar": A Battle Royale for individual GOL configurations
Lol quickly fill it up before its patched xd
I made a thingy to detect duplicate boards even if rotated or shifted and be more than happy if hash0 implements that on his registry.
This would also help the battles to avoid duplicates of the winners competing against each other.

Re: CHALLENGE: Find the longest-lived GOL pattern w/ the fewest / most alive cells as its initial state
An official API would be the best middle ground. People with external miners can easily use it, and people mining via the website won’t even find a pattern this high to have to wait minutes.

Def. worth a try. If i am not mistaken there is a database of the known patterns, taking those and scattering them on the board might work. I will give that a try today

We might be reaching a limit on whats possible on the 16x16 with the current miners. Finding the 2300+ took a really long time.

It does work yes! Ive reran the old one then the current version and was able to get a performance increase of 18.75%. Good Job!Vort wrote: August 14th, 2026, 7:27 am I made new version which is 15% faster on my hardware.

NLK05, I'm very interested on hearing more about your approach, because my current miner is a CPU only cpp implementation.
