Re: Thread for your miscellaneous posts and discussions

What happened to confocaloid after those months? Will (s)he get unbanned?

Weird that someone who's been highly active for years would suddenly get banned...

This post is now a soft redirect

edit: this is now a soft redirect to https://conwaylife.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=12&t=5730&p=223444#p223444 . The original post is in the wrong place and is unpopular partly due to offensive wording that i did not intend.

Find the smallest endemic still life

It seems that PK22, the current only person in the project who is able to search non-anonymously, has rejoined (he first joined one year ago when iddi01 first brought bs01/1x256 to the leaderboard)

I'll post another here, though i swear i had seen something similar before, maybe just by imagination ...

CatForce OCA development?

Has anyone else actually used the INT adaptation of CatForce to do something? (can a mod please move that thread to "Scripts" since it is incorrectly in the sandbox forum)

Re: TLS - B2ce3ai4ez/S12cei3inry & the t-split rulespace

There is no way to form a formal definition for this rulespace, since it includes not a single reaction but any rule with reasonably similar reactions, and there is no formal definition for what counts as "similar" to the reaction, so.

Here's the full tabulation of T/L & single domino reactions ...

Re: TLS - B2ce3ai4ez/S12cei3inry & the t-split rulespace

How big is this rulespace?

Any rule where the T works the same and the following collision works similarly.

x = 10, y = 5, rule = B2ce3ai4ez/S12cei3inry

Sorry about the relatively crude post yesterday, it was due to time constraints.

The variants are now revealed - see updated first post for details. They would certainly not disappoint, i promise.

TLS - B2ce3ai4ez/S12cei3inry & the t-split rulespace

TLS, stands for T and L, the two main spaceship types, and s plit, is a rule within the "t-split" rulespace.

It features abnormally abundant splitting and eating reactions, all with only a domino!
