Conjecture: The growth rate of the function f(n) is exponential or even faster.
f(n) return the biggest non-infinite final population obtainable from a starting pattern that fit in a nxn bounding box.

I edited this post because it have been proven that fatherless still-life exist.

Conjecture: All glider-constructible still-life can appear from a single continuous row of cells of any lenght.

Examples:
