Re: Larger than Life

I don’t know if anyone knows this, but using LtL rules, you can simulate n^2 life universes in parallel by using the following adjustable rule:
Rn,C2,S2-3,B3,NF
This can also allow inflated life patterns to work as they would in Life. An example:
x = 8, y = 8, rule = R2,C2,S2-3,B3,NF

speeding things up I see?
sec(64.5 deg) = 2.32282049734 (+0.00453866889)
I do not intend to speed things up monumentally.
log_pi^2 (204) = 2.32287112426 (+0.00005062692)
log_x means the base-x logarithm.

Re: Thread for your unsure discoveries

I’ve also found a caterer-domino interaction that allows for more LCM oscillators, like this p12.

Code: Select all

x = 16, y = 14, rule = B3/S23

Again, don’t know whether or not this has been found.

Re: Thread for your unsure discoveries

This is my first post, and I’m not sure if anyone else knows this, but cis-fuse with two tails is extensible. Found this while playing around with LifeViewer on the cis-fuse with two tails page.
RLE:
x = 18, y = 18, rule = B3/S23
