To be fair, I think "Eigenletter" is just a bad translation of "still life" or "stable ash". However, to reiterate, still lives and ash are very mundane parts of cellular automata and are rarely notable.

Not so much "already" as "for now". These errors are a result of a weird caching issue, and they should go away after each page is viewed once (if you see it on two separate page loads of a page, let me know).

it might be advantageous to rewrite this to use speedydelete's lifeweb library, since it's very fast and also supports custom rules. Plus speedydelete is serious about making it work since it's used for the discord's Caterer bot to !sim patterns.

It's apgcode, but if you go to the object page for the apgcode, it will give you the RLE. Example: xs4_33 or xp2_7
