IMHO, a reflection is a change of direction of a straight beam, so it's not applicable to Herschels, Bs, etc, only to spaceships traveling in straight paths.

You could argue that the signals are sub-lightspeed, it's just that the signal corresponding to each glider is actually the first one that wouldn't appear if it weren't there. I do think "dependent glider loop" is a good clarification to make, though

Sure, a nice OT Heisenburp. But these OneTimers lack the mechanism/circuitry to reset the bait fast enough to keep detecting signals in the channel. Ideally the recovery should be as fast as the fastest rate allowed by the channel
