Spindrift Rulespace (cardinality 28, around B2n3-qy4eqy6n7c/S2-n3-a4atz5k)

Rulespace defined by B2n3-qy4qy(4cejkt5e6ckn78)/S2-n3-a(-k)4atz(4ce5cekny6acein78)
or, in partial notation (note that 8s are optional):
pB2n3aceijknr-qy4qy-ainrwz5-acijknr6-aei78S2aceik-n3ceijnqr-a4atz-ijknrwy5-aijr6-k78

The "type rule" is B2n3-qy4eqy6n7c/S2-n3-a4atz5k

Re: Miscellaneous Discoveries in Other Cellular Automata

Long post for two different things: (1) some interesting puffers and rakes, and (2) an EXTREMELY interesting and varied rulespace represented in several examples. For the latter, it may be worth posting in a different thread; if you find it worthwhile, let me know (or post it yourself, anything is ...

Might be really hard due to the knightwise growth of the active part, could be impossible. Were it not growing, its solution would be a new speed in the 5S database:

Cardinality. If a pattern exists in 2^N rules (within a given rulespace - totalistic isotropic, non-totalistic, etc), it can be said to have a cardinality of N. Endemic patterns by definition have a cardinality of 0 (2^0 rules). Generally, this statistically scales with population and number of ...
