The following keyboard commands are used to run the emulator / debugger:

Return : If the emulation is running, this command will pause it. If it is already paused, it will resume normal running.

Space : Pauses the emulation. If it is already paused, it executes the next instruction.

B : Displays a dialog box for entering breakpoints.
When the emulation reaches one of the specified state labels, it automatically pauses.

S : Displays a message box which shows the current state and register values.
The information is the same as in the status bar, but is more readable (and can be copied and pasted somewhere else)

U : Normally the status bar is updated continually, but this slows the emulation down.
The U command turns the update on and off during normal running. Updates always happen when the emulation is paused.
When updates are off, the B2D and PRINTER arrays are only redrawn after 20 changes.

F : B register values can be displayed either as bitstrings, or as decimal or hexadecimal numbers.
This command cycles through the three formats. It affects both the status bar and status message boxes.

H : Displays a message box summarising these commands.

Q : Quits the emulator.

The emulation is paused at the start, and will pause when a HALT or HALT_OUT instruction is reached, displaying a message.
If running is resumed at this point, the emulator script ends.
